As the Branch Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing all operations at the designated branch, including managing a team of customs brokers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a Customs Brokers License , a strong background in logistics and customs operations, and leadership experience in managing both people and processes. You will work closely with the senior management team to achieve business goals, improve operational efficiencies, and maintain high standards of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Branch Operations Management :
- Oversee daily operations of the branch, including workflow, client service, and team performance. Ensure the branch meets performance metrics and revenue targets.
- Customs Compliance :
- Ensure all operations comply with local, national, and international customs regulations. Monitor changes in customs laws and regulations to ensure the branch is fully compliant at all times.
- Team Leadership :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of customs brokers, administrative staff, and operations personnel. Provide training on customs procedures, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their logistics and customs needs. Address any client concerns or issues related to customs procedures, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Financial Management :
- Oversee the branch budget and ensure that financial goals are met. Control costs, improve profitability, and identify opportunities for business growth and cost reduction.
- Reporting & Documentation :
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of branch performance, customs compliance, and operational KPIs. Maintain detailed records of customs clearance, imports, exports, and any other regulatory documentation required.
- Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution :
- Address operational challenges, including any customs-related issues, discrepancies, or delays. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain business continuity.
- Business Development :
- Support sales efforts by identifying opportunities to expand business with existing clients and attracting new clients. Participate in client meetings and negotiations to grow the branch's market presence.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with the senior management team to ensure alignment with company goals and initiatives. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve company-wide operations.
Qualifications & Requirements :
