Job Overview : Provide Information Technology Specialist services in support of software modernization efforts for multiple programs at Kessel Run (Hanscom AFB, MA).

Work Model : Onsite / In-Office

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT operations support to include maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting end-users at Kessel Run.
  • Support the development of system security documentation on both new and previously deployed capabilities.
  • Help to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems by identifying risks and working with the appropriate stakeholders to implement a response.
  • Provide corrective action plans, identification, and resolution of service outages in accordance with problem severity and priority.
  • Maintain the full suite of collaboration audio / visual media equipment to ensure meetings run properly.
  • Work with IT manager to provide the necessary components to operate the network topology and manage equipment securely in accordance with the Authority-To-Operate (ATO).
  • Provide MAC OS hardware and software support.
  • Inventory management of electronic devices (iPad, MacBook, etc.) including tracking, receiving, shipping, configuring, documenting / inventory control within eCAMS / DPAS, imaging, and issuing devices.
  • Provide device maintenance including interfacing with Apple for AppleCare, device recovery, device swap-outs, and DRMO process.

Accountable for

  • Managing and updating wireless access points throughout the space as needed.
  • Supporting the setup of developer pairing stations for Government Programs already installed.
  • Operating all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Supporting the development of the Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) program and integrating SCRM with CGS's risk management process.
  • Communicating effectively with Base Communications POC and Civil Engineering POC to ensure proper and legal installations / manipulations.

    • Job Requirements

    Mandatory :

  • Four (4) years of IT support experience in network, desktop, and server hardware.
  • Proven work experience as a network administrator or technician.
  • Strong working knowledge of access, administration, application server, archival, and configuration management software.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary at customer request.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.

    Must be able to carry IT equipment and climb ladders to check IT equipment mounted in ceilings as needed.
