Nights, with 8 and 12-hour shifts and a rotation every third weekend. Holiday rotation applies.

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will engage with a diverse and complex range of patients, including :
Post-operative care for craniotomy procedures, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery patients.Patients experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of spine surgery and medical overflow cases.Our unit is part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), offering you exposure to innovative neurosurgical techniques and advanced patient care.

Implement the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate individualized patient care.Identify significant changes in patients and respond with appropriate interventions.Develop and manage discharge plans using an interdisciplinary approach.Promote patient safety through proactive risk assessment and intervention.Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental effectiveness and patient satisfaction.Participate in professional development activities to advance your skills and knowledge.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the AHA.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited Nursing program.Experience Required :
