We are looking for a strong Project manager to oversee projects from contract through completion, ensuring smooth coordination across permitting, materials, labor, crews, homeowner communication, and financial accountability.
Role Description and Expectations
- Project Planning & Setup
- Review contract details, homeowner selections, and scope of work to ensure accuracy.
- Verify compliance with state and local building codes.
- Develop preliminary project schedule in alignment with homeowner expectations and crew availability.
Material & Labor Management
Coordinate ordering, tracking, and timely delivery of materials with all vendors.Validate take-offs and quantities to minimize waste and overages.Monitor crew assignments to ensure productivity and adherence to schedule.Track and manage labor and material costs to ensure target profit margins are met per job.Field Oversight
Provide technical field management across roofing, siding, windows / doors, and decks.Conduct on-site quality checks at key checkpoints (start, mid-project, completion).Address and resolve on-site issues efficiently, protecting timeline and homeowner satisfaction.Ensure that crews are wearing proper Stronghouse branded attireHomeowner Experience
Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project.Provide proactive updates (calls, texts, photos, videos) to keep homeowners informed.Ensure any concerns are addressed promptly and transparently.Execute final walkthrough and close-out meeting to confirm satisfaction.Financial & Process Accountability
Track job progress against labor and material budgets, adjusting as needed.Partner with accounting to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.Verify all change orders and credits are processed correctly before job close.Confirm final payment collection is complete.Completion & Review
Send "completion email" to homeowners as the final communication step.Request and follow up on homeowner 5-star reviews (Google, BBB, etc.) as part of job close.Log all close-out documentation and results in CRM / dashboard.Leave business cards with customers and surrounding neighbors to foster relationships and increase brand visibilityQualifications
Technical knowledge across all exterior remodeling trades (roofing, siding, windows / doors, decks).Strong organizational and scheduling skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven ability to track and manage labor and material costs at the job level.Clear, professional communication skills with homeowners, crews, and internal teams.Problem-solving mindset focused on efficiency, quality, and customer experience.Familiarity with construction management software, dashboards, or CRM platforms preferred.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Job Profitability : Maintain target labor and material marginsSchedule Adherence : Average variance between planned and actual job completion dates within 3 days.Homeowner Satisfaction : Minimum 95% 5-star review rate across assigned projects.Quality Control : Fewer than 3% of projects requiring rework or warranty service within first year.Communication : Homeowner update compliance rate of 100% (mid-job check-ins, photos, videos, completion emails).Financial Accuracy : 100% of invoices, credits, and change orders reconciled before job close.Crew Efficiency : Maintain average crew productivity benchmarks (e.g., siding squares / day, roofing squares / day, window units / day).
