Operations Program Manager, Events & Content

We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Program Manager focused around Events & Content to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of various, high-profile events for leadership-level audiences, as well as managing the technical production aspects of content creation initiatives for various demos / prototypes, events, product development and launches. You will work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, and business operations, as well as external vendors, to ensure the seamless execution of high-quality experiences and compelling content.

Operations Program Manager, Events & Content Responsibilities

  • Planning & Strategy : Develop and execute comprehensive plans for all events, including identifying necessary equipment and personnel. Research and recommend new technologies to enhance event experiences
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in leadership events. Provide regular updates to leadership on event progress, potential challenges, and strategic opportunities. Cultivate rapport with leadership support teams, leadership, technical product managers, product managers, and engineering teams
  • Vendor Management : Source, negotiate with and manage external vendors for event production needs, including AV, staging, lighting, internet connectivity, VC / streaming requirements, and other technical services
  • Content : Manage the development of all event-related content, including presentations, scripts, talking points, video assets, interactive experiences, and digital collateral
  • On-site / Remote Management : Be the primary point of contact for all event related logistics, including location booking, scheduling, setup, testing, live operation, and teardown. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Budget Management : Manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
  • Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all events, including floor plans, personnel & equipment lists, feedback, and run-of-show documents
  • Post-Event Analysis : Conduct post-event technical reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Content Production : Oversee all aspects of pre-production, production, and post production for live-action film and video content capture, CGI content creation, and Visual Effects. Work with internal creative and production teams to ensure the delivery of the highest quality product
  • Vendor Management : Source, negotiate with and manage external vendors for video, film, and photography production needs, including talent, camera, lighting & grip, on-set & studio operations, editorial & post production
  • Equipment Management : Manage QA teams to oversee the procurement, maintenance, and organization of all content creation equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting and editing software
  • Budgeting & Scheduling : Create, maintain, and manage production budgets and schedules to always stay on-time and within budget
  • Workflow Optimization : Work with engineering and product teams to develop and implement efficient technical workflows for content capture, editing, and distribution
  • Quality Control : Ensure the technical quality of all produced content, including audio, video, and streaming fidelity
  • Platform Expertise : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various content creation and distribution platforms, recommending best practices and new tools

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in creative event production and content development, with a significant focus on leadership-level events and content creation for product launches
  • Experience conceptualizing and executing innovative, high-impact events and content for a discerning executive audience with a portfolio of relevant work
  • Proven track record of success in project management skills, problem solving, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and troubleshooting complex technical issues under pressure
  • Proven track record of success in communication, interpersonal, vendor management, negotiation skills and understanding product marketing principles and the product launch lifecycle
  • Proficiency in event management software, presentation tools, and collaboration platforms
  • Experience adapting to evolving priorities in a deadline-focused environment
  • Flexibility to travel and work evenings / weekends as required by event schedules
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a B2B technology environment
  • Experience in live-action and CGI production workflows
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging technology to enhance event experiences (e.g., virtual and hybrid events, interactive platforms)

    $116,000 / year to $166,000 / year + bonus + equity + benefits Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
