What we offer :

Job Functions : The Intake Specialist Supervisor provides oversight and direction to the intake team to ensure quality assurance within the intake process.

Essential Responsibilities :

Requirements :

Education and Experience :

A masters degree in human services field or related area. Experience supervising interns or staff preferred. Must be knowledgeable about homeless issues, with experience providing intakes and assessments in a fast-paced environment.

Skill Requirements :

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; strong interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communications skills; dependability; demonstrates maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in clients served; ability to handle job related matters in a professional, diplomatic, and confidential manner; ability to engage families; willing to work with minimal supervision yet be able to seek and accept direction; well organized and detail oriented. Ability to make sound and independent decisions when necessary related to the intake process.

Physical Requirements :

Hearing and speaking ability, which allows for effective oral communication; physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job related issues and stress.

Other :

Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must possess a valid FL drivers license with a good driving record and insured vehicle in order to transport self and clients when necessary.
