Refugee Health Promotion Program Coordinator
Location : 202 W French Pl, San Antonio, TX 78210
Work Hours : 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.; Workdays : Monday – Friday (weekends / evenings as needed)

Summary
Under the supervision of Refugee Health Promotion Program Supervisor, the Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Program Supervisor with programmatic direct client services and activities. Knowledgeable of the program manual and compliance with federal grant regulations.
Position Responsibilities
- The Health & Wellness Program Coordinator will assist with client services and education classes, including compliance with all applicable federal grants and budget regulations, and Council on Accreditation standards.
- Assist with daily program activities, client home visits, and completing program case files.
- Assist with creating and implementing the health and wellness program designed to improve long-term health outcomes in refugee populations.
- Identify at-risk clients and work with them to create plans to improve health.
- Assist with health awareness campaigns to encourage preventative health.
- Ensure that services are provided in an effective and timely manner to eligible clients; and that services are provided in a culturally appropriate manner to meet the needs of individual clients.
- Complete all required professional development in a timely manner.
- Be sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Adhere to safety training and protocols daily, taking precautionary measures to ensure safety and well-being of self and others.
- Protect the confidentiality of information or materials obtained in the service with the organization, including client names and services rendered, donors names and gifts, investigations or results, and financial information.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.
- Take a solution-oriented approach, be a team member, promote collaboration, and support the Mission and Vision of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor.
