About The Position

We are hiring Neuro-ICU Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide temporary coverage in a hospital-based Neuro ICU to start in late October / early November through February / March 2026!

Position Details :

Practice Setting : Hospital-based Neuro ICU

Patient Population : 100% Adult

Trauma Exposure : ~40%

Census : Average 10 patients in Neuro ICU; 5 neurosurgery consults / night

Schedule : Night coverage only (no call)

Team Support :

No other neurologists on-site during coverage

2 Neurointensivists available by phone at night

3 APPs in the group

EMR : Epic

Trauma Level : Level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke program

Job Requirements

Board Certified PA or NP

Active OH License – (no exceptions)

Clean Background – (no exceptions)

Certifications : BLS & ACLS required; ENLS highly preferred

Experience : Must be comfortable covering a Neuro ICU in a Level 1 Trauma Center , including stroke management and neurosurgical consults

Benefits

Hourly compensation : $105 / W2 and $120 / 1099
