Job description

You will report to the Director of Talent Programs.

Position Compensation Range :

$97,000.00 - $164,000.00

Pay Rate Type : Salary

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

Lead with influence and expertise. Contribute as a key member of the leadership team, driving the development and execution of innovative strategies to advance organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous learning. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values and policies.

Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion.

Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development.

Manage the development of learning solutions, programs and associated implementation plans that support our needs at all leadership levels and changing business strategies.

Oversee the comprehensive needs analysis of the organization for development and training solutions.

Ensure identification of success measures and use data to improve learning solutions and programs.

Monitor reporting relevant to program design, development and training, facilitation efforts to ensure direct report competency and program success.

Establish, communicate and implement departmental plans and objectives.

Keep current on industry trends and best practices and incorporate into our organization.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and new ideas.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

Demonstrated experience applying and training and facilitation strategies and techniques.

Solid knowledge and understanding of current market practices and trends in adult learning.

Demonstrated effective management or leadership experience.

Demonstrated experience developing adult learning strategies, principles and effective instructional techniques.

Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance industry process, practices and procedures.

Demonstrated experience managing relationships in a collaborative, team environment.

Solid knowledge of skill and competency-based assessment tools and their application.

Demonstrated innovation and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to deliver results in an environment of multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Preferred Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

Experience designing and building comprehensive learning journeys tailored to all levels (front-line managers through executive) within an enterprise.

Experience bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the table, especially in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Experience working within or transitioning to a skills-based organization, with a strong understanding of skills frameworks and talent development.

Creativity and design thinking skills, with the ability to lead large-scale innovation initiatives in learning and development.

    In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office. Candidates should reside within approximately 50 miles of one of the following office location : Madison, WI 53783
