Job description

Job Summary Responsible for ensuring government contract compliance with detailed financial analysis, audit support, and other projects. Interact with Division management team with corporate governance and risk management aspects of maintaining an overall compliant government contract accounting system.Job Description Responsibilities : Manage key processes including contract audits and reconciliations. Ensure compliance with price reduction clause through review of Medline pricing to prevent discrepancies and Track customer pricing, extract irrelevant data, and analyze. Collect, examine, analyze, and verify information by reviewing manuals, policies, reports, financial statements, and other written materials. Support business initiatives that affect accounting and systems while performing continuous improvement efforts through the function. Conduct audit activities to analyze and evaluate the performance of financial processes systems to identify risks, areas for improvement, and to ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. Create internal audit reports and make recommendations for correcting unsatisfactory conditions and improving policies, procedures and operating methods. Communicate issues and proposed solutions. Escalate internal control weaknesses to the Sr Manager of Government Contracts Administration for corrective action. Provide reports and annual reviews to management. Maintain documentation related to the specific job functions. Lead and manage processes ensuring compliance with country-of-origin requirements in federal contracts. Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate risks of non-compliance with TAA and BAA, federal acquisition regulations and internal policies. Maintain federal contract compliance by establishing internal controls that align with applicable sourcing and acquisition regulations. Conduct discontinued item and sub analysis. Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree. At least 2 years of contract auditing, internal auditing. Experience reviewing and correcting customer pricing per contract terms. Experience performing internal audits and summarizing information for easy and quick understanding. Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems. Ability to identify and define issues, develop criteria, and analyze complex business data. Ability to manage projects and process improvement initiatives. Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP Preferred Requirements : Experience applying federal laws that government contractors and subcontractors must follow. SQL (Structured Query Language), SQL Server, MS Access, or other Database Systems. The anticipated salary range for this position : $73,840.00 - $107,120.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and / or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
