Job description

About the Opportunity :

We’re looking for a proactive AOG Planner to join our team in Kinston, NC. In this role, you’ll be at the center of our 24 / 7 operations, ensuring aircraft are turned around quickly and downtime is minimized. You’ll coordinate manpower, tooling, materials, and travel while keeping both our teams and customers informed throughout every step of an AOG event.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan and coordinate AOG field maintenance for quick return-to-service.
  • Arrange logistics for field technicians.
  • Manage and update work orders in maintenance tracking systems.
  • Monitor real-time AOG events and adjust resources as needed.
  • Coordinate with supply chains and vendors for expedited parts.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and customers.
  • Track performance and support process improvements.

Requirements :

  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance systems.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, and able to manage multiple events.
  • High school diploma required; associate / bachelor’s preferred.
  • 1–3 years of aerospace / aviation experience preferred.
