This role has a minimum base pay from $15.24 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.

Purpose

Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start-to-finish consultative design service that builds lasting relationships and brand loyalty with the customers we serve. They meet with customers, listen to their project needs, educate them on all that is required for their project, and build creative design concepts that incorporate the customers' personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Minimum of One (1) year of interior design experience or prior retail / sales experience
• Degree in Design is a plus
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
• Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position

Medium work involving exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and other physical activities including standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and feeling.
