- Must be willing to provide coverage to all Phoenix area clinics. Floating between locations as needed, based on staffing and operational needs.
Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Compensation : Hourly rates range from $38.00 to $42.00, dependent on experience
Summary : X-Ray Technician provides expertise in X-Ray techniques, policies and procedures and works hard to support the entire clinic team with both X-Ray and Medical Assistant duties.
Responsibilities :
As an X-Ray Technician you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.Perform quality control checks / audits on radiologic equipment.Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.Works closely with the Center Administrator / Practice Supervisor, Medical Staff, Front Office Specialist and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.Ensure occupational client’s preferences followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.Cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in / out on computer, and of day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.Works with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.Assist with general patient care when needed.Other duties as assigned.Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological SciencesCurrent state X-Ray License in active status.1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficialCurrent First Aid / CPR certification from recognized program (American Red Cross, etc.) required or completed within first 60 days of employment.Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotionDemonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Benefits :
