Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 educational setting located in La Push, WA. This position is a contract role for the next school year, offering the opportunity to support a diverse student population in developing their communication skills.

Key Qualifications :

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide effective speech and language therapy to children with various communication disorders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies within the classroom
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations related to special education services
