Job descriptionClass A CDL Regional truck driver position Reserve Transport is seeking a dependable and efficient Class A CDL driver who possesses a great deal of physical and mental stamina able to withstand long hours on the road. Must be organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working independently. A clean driving record and background is a must.
Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
- Pick-up and safely transport products and goods to the intended destinations
- Ensure contents are properly secured in trailers to prevent damage / injury
- Communicate with dispatch, safety, and management as needed
- Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
- Follow pick-up and delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times
- Maintain vehicle as needed (refuel, tire pressure, light repairs, etc.)
- Proper use of ELD's
- Adhere to company rules, policies, and regulations
- Comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in accordance with weather / road conditions
