Associate Attorney

Deming Parker, LLC is an AV rated law firm with locations in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia. We are currently looking for an associate attorney to defend clients against traffic citations and misdemeanor criminal matters in southern Georgia. The position allows for the attorney to work remotely on some days but will require the attorney to regularly obtain files and drop off documents to the Savannah office location. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. We are seeking an attorney who is personable, client-oriented, well organized and able to travel to multiple counties in Georgia throughout a given week. Reliable transportation is a must. The position is fairly high volume although many of the matters can be resolved without Court appearances. The position allows for great real world experience and allows the attorney to learn the interworking of multiple municipalities and county courthouses when Court appearance is required.

Requirements :

• Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Georgia
• Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work during standard business hours.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Suite and practice-related software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to focus on accuracy, details and meeting deadlines and service goals.

Compensation and Benefits :

Competitive salary with mileage reimbursement and potential for bonuses. In addition to the benefits stated elsewhere in this ad, we offer free in-house CLEs and reimbursement of Georgia bar dues.
