Health Information Specialist I

A company is looking for a Health Information Specialist I - OnBase Indexer.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform chart processing functions including preparation, scanning, indexing, and quality review of medical records

Index medical records within OnBase, ensuring accurate entry of patient information and document types

Review legal components of medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications :

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

2 years of previous medical office or medical record experience preferred

Proficiency in computer applications related to position duties
