Registered Dental Hygienist

We are a fee for service periodontal practice in Towson looking for a Hygienist to work 3-5 days per week

Office hours are 8am-4pm, Monday - Friday

Hourly competitive pay based on experience with benefits

Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take and dental x-rays and perform other diagnostic tests as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients as directed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff -Help maintain sterilization and laundry as needed

- Exemplary bedside manor

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred
- Proficiency in using dental software
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health principles
- Ability to take vital signs and monitor patients during procedures
