Job Summary
As a member of the Ambulatory Care Division, the Administrative Officer 3 serves as the department's liaison to Human Resources Departments (Employee & Labor Relations, Recruitment, Compensation, Disability Management Services, Benefits, Leave of Absence) as well as the to the Practice Managers, supervisors, and staff on a wide array of staffing matters. The position exercises initiative and sound judgment to identify potential issues of concern and will follow-up on solutions to achieve desired outcomes while partnering with management and staff to maximize departmental personnel processes between the division and Human Resources. This position reports a solid line to the Associate Chief Nursing Executive.

Department Overview
Ambulatory Operations has a full complement of facilities and services which includes 40 hospital-based clinics and 25 medical practices located across the greater Sacramento region. The division oversees complex care delivery in infusion centers, gastroenterology procedure labs, imaging centers, and neuroscience and sleep labs. Ambulatory also offers a vast array of virtual care through office based primary care and specialty telehealth video visits, eConsults. and extended hours telehealth express care.
