Registered Medication Aid

Are you an experienced and qualified Registered Medication Aid with a commitment to exceptional patient care? We are hiring for a Full-Time evening shift RMA. 68-hour RMA certification is required. Compensation : $18.25 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policy, and Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) regulations
• Document medication administration in the Medication Administration Record
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report promptly to the nursing supervisor
• Ensure controlled substances are properly counted, secured, and documented
• Observe, report, and document changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition
• Follow all infection control, safety, and emergency protocols
• Communicate effectively and professionally with residents, visitors, families, physicians, and other staff members
• Provide quality patient care with respect and dignity
