Job Description :

Coterra Energy Inc. is seeking an HR Data Analyst to play a crucial role in collecting, processing, and analyzing human capital data to assist HR and Business leaders make informed decisions and drive business outcomes.

JOB SUMMARY

The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and converting data into a format suitable for analysis. This includes creating tables, charts, or graphs, identifying and interpreting results using statistical and analytical techniques, and creating visual representations to communicate findings effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, organize, and convert data into a format suitable for analysis
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret results using statistical and analytical techniques
  • Create visual representations to communicate findings effectively
  • Interpret data findings and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
  • Build predictive models to forecast trends, make predictions, or solve specific problems
  • Identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in the data to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Gather and maintain data from various sources, including databases, surveys, and external datasets
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support for data-driven decision-making
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems
  • Keep up with industry trends and new data analysis techniques to enhance skills and knowledge

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Addressing complex business problems through data-driven solutions
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Strong organization and facilitation skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum : Bachelor's degree

    YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

    Years of Experience Range : 3-5 years; 2-4 years in a HR systems role supporting Workday

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

    Percent of Travel Required : Less than 5%

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMAND

    Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting, and standing.
