Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create wedding event proposals that reflect the various options offered at Falkner Winery.
- Reply and answer all event leads in a very timely fashion—sense of urgency is key to success in the wedding event sale.
- Communicate by email, text, phone, Instagram… to set up private tours and meetings (in person and virtual).
- Timely follow up, answering questions and negotiating the proposal options and upgrades with a custom proposal and contract is the next step in the process.
- Finalizing the booking with the initial payment, payment plan and all details and procedures is the final step in the booking process.
- Updating the wedding section of the website, updating options on all platforms, and posting on social media Instagram is part of the sales role.
- Meeting a sales quota on a quarterly and annual basis
- Communicate and work in a team environment with the Wedding manager, the Tasting Room, Restaurant and all winery personnel.
- Most tours are scheduled on weekends when potential couples can visit the winery. Therefore being able to work from 9am to 5pm on weekends based on the tour schedule is key.
- Keep records on all communication and bookings
- Report and communicate directly with owner of winery as required
Knowledge and Skills :
