Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the semiconductor industry. The Manufacturing Supervisor will report to and be responsible for assisting the Manufacturing Manager in coordinating and managing all manufacturing activities to assure SSDI's commitments are fulfilled on schedule. This is an on-site position located in our La Mirada, CA facility. Candidates must currently reside in Southern California to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities :

• Investigating, recommending, implementing and maintaining improvements in manufacturing procedures and equipment
• Work with Engineering, Quality Control and Management to assess the potential costs and benefits of proposed changes and shall enlist internal or external sources to maintain all equipment in working order
• Provide on-the-job-training and coaching to new operators to develop production team
• Management and oversight of personnel, processes, equipment and delivery schedules
• Ensure that all products are built in accordance with the appropriate documentation and procedures
• Monitor, maintain and communicate job and process issues with the Manufacturing Manager

Qualifications :

Education : Electrical Engineering Degree, Technical Education or equivalent

Experience : 3-years of working experience in a Manufacturing environment

Must have thorough knowledge of the following : Supervision / Management skills, Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Production Control / Planning / Schedules, Safety & Hazardous waste handling / disposal

Schedule : Full-time / Monday - Friday / 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Salary : $79K - $85K Annual / Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule (Direct Deposit)
