As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrols in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by site-specific policies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and local authorities as needed.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards promptly.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
