Project Billing Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Project Billing Specialist to join our team in Glen Allen, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes for project-related expenses. This position requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities :

• Manage project billing tasks, including the preparation and submission of invoices to clients.
• Ensure all time sheets and expense reports are accurately recorded and processed.
• Monitor for missing invoices and follow up with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize spreadsheets and pivot tables to analyze billing data and track costs.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely submission of billing information.
• Provide training and guidance on billing procedures to team members as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of billing activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address billing inquiries.
• Perform cost analysis to identify areas for improvement in billing processes.
• Assist in offline accounting functions and ensure all documentation is properly organized.
