Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE :

The Dispatcher is a conduit for information between the public and need for Police. Receives telephone call requests for service (CFS), collects appropriate information while interacting with the caller and a Computer Aided Dispatch system (CAD). Dispatches the CFS and follows it to completion, making appropriate entries in the CAD system. Dispatcher is subject to shift work, sometime working alone or with general / limited supervision.

Hiring salary range is $36,057 - $41,466

Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
