Position Overview :

The Scheduling and Logistics Manager is responsible for managing our production schedule while also leading a small team that handles logistics scheduling and the printing of essential plant paperwork. This includes detailed department schedules, shipping labels, and other documentation critical to smooth plant operations. This individual is responsible for creating the production schedule that ensures all orders are accurately planned and sequenced to support on-time delivery and efficient plant operations. This role requires strong organizational, leadership, and process improvement skills to optimize workflows, minimize disruptions, and support overall plant performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Create weekly production schedule to align with our plant capacity and our customer’s delivery expectations
• Oversee logistics operations including scheduling of inbound / outbound trucks, building strong carrier relationships, reviewing cost saving opportunities, and reviewing for optimization of truck routes
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of plant paperwork, including department schedules, cut lists, production / shipping labels, etc.
• Communicate and collaborate across all teams to address scheduling gaps, questions, and opportunities as needed
• Compile data, creating reports to show trends, track performance, and assist in decision making
• Develop and maintain process documents for daily functions
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost saving opportunities
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency
• Manage and execute projects as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills :

Salary Range : $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
