Senior Corporate Counsel, Commercial

Position Summary

Reporting to a senior member of the Legal team, the Senior Corporate Counsel should be a bright, energetic, business-minded and self-motivated transactional attorney with at least 5 years of transactional legal experience (commercial, general corporate, and / or M&A).

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, including sales, channels and vendor contracts, RFP responses, and supporting documents
• Providing ongoing commercial legal advice and support to the sales, product, marketing, account management, and business development teams
• Working closely with management and business partners on a variety of agreements and issues impacting a rapidly growing healthcare IT company
• Collaborating with, supporting, advising, and facilitating cross-team decision-making among internal teams.
• Conducting legal trainings for business stakeholders on a variety of commercial legal issues
• Supporting corporate transactional work, as needed (e.g., M&A and strategic investments)
• Assisting with other general legal matters to be assigned as company needs warrant
• Contributing to legal department leadership, mentoring junior staff, and promoting continuous process improvement
