Product Truck Specialist(Delivery Driver)

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for taking product truck out to customer site locations and drilling rig locations to sell safety products and services.

• Assist call in customers with placing product orders.
• Create customer sales orders or quotes.
• Entering requisitions for product orders.
• Checking and using existing surplus inventory when available.
• Ensuring price changes are made or notification given to Inventory Administrators when price discrepancies are discovered.
• Working with accounts payable as needed, to resolve any customer issues.
• Communicating frequently with customers and employees and escalate any pertinent issues to management.
• Performing inventory cycle counts in product truck.
• Housekeeping as it pertains to the product truck.
• Work with the service and sales dept., pull and ordering necessary products and items.
• Filling out ticket information properly and having "Company Man" sign off on all documentation.
• All other duties as assigned

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to humid and outside weather conditions. The job activities will require the employee to work in a shop / warehouse environment and / or at customer job site locations. On an as needed basis, the employee may be assigned to support field services on a drilling rig. The employee will be required to be able to drive all categories of trucks.

Flexibility in work schedule is also required for possible overtime, work on holidays, weekends and extended hours with minimal notice and as required by operational need.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to lift / carry 42 lbs. occasionally, 32 lbs. frequently and 10 lbs. constantly. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel to perform his / her duties.
