JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the successful collections of funds that are past due and all off the off line processes that are required to make that collection happen. Duties include special reviewing, credit validations and monitoring. This role also would require working as part of a team delivering first class and professional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform skip tracing on locations and people that are delinquent
- Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
- Working and reconciling with local agencies to ensure payment (Alberta works)
- Writing off customer accounts
- Handle complex account billing issues and provide adequate and reasonable solutions.
- Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining complete collection processes using the support framework designed. i.e. : learning policy and procedure for accessing letters, sources of needed information and scheduling requirements to achieve successful collection.
- Perform credit risk, security deposit and credit monitoring
- Perform credit financial analysis
- Establish and manage credit limits
- Direct responsibility for resolving credit and collections tasks within SLA
- Adhere to agreed Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements and quality standards
