Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and / or law enforcement as needed. Assist visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries and directions while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity. Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific instructions to support a secure environment within the financial institution location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen. Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrol
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrol in SUNNYVALE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the location. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
