Java Automation QE

Job TITLE : Java Automation QE

Location : San Jose, CA

Term : Contract

Skills : Provide white box testing using C / C++ or Java. Report testing status, escalate issues as appropriate. Track software defects and issues. Work closely with developers to resolve issues or confusion. Proactively solve problems, suggest process improvements. Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk.

Project : QE support for the After Sales and Identity work to validate money movement flows.

Top Requirements :

Java

Experience with automation testing using Selenium WebDriver

Experience testing REST and SOAP services

Daily Responsibilities :

• Writing Selenium Web Automation
• Testing REST Services for Identity
• Writing Test Plans
• Executing Test Cases and setting up Continuous Integration jobs in Jenkins
• Tracking Test Results

Experience :

• Preferably from technology companies or with a background in Quality Engineering
• Candidates with a background as Product Developers interested in moving to QE are also considered
• Experience at major eCommerce companies like eBay, PayPal, Google, Facebook, Walmart, Amazon, or similar is preferred

Additional Information :

• Candidates need to be experienced Quality Engineers
• Must be able to write Test Automation code in Java
• Experience with Selenium is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience at major eCommerce companies is preferred
