We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our Strategic Regulatory Engagement and Communications team within the Office of Regulatory Relations and Remediation. This role requires a professional with experience in financial services, an understanding of risk and finance, and the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous regulatory environments. The VP will help the organization navigate key business initiatives and regulatory issues, developing engagement strategies, and collaborating closely with business partners and leaders to enact effective solutions. Additionally, the VP will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications, crafting clear and compelling messages for senior stakeholders, and managing multiple high-impact projects simultaneously. This role is located in Pittsburgh.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways :

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic regulatory engagement plans that align with the company’s business objectives and regulatory environment.
  • Craft and guide clear, concise, and impactful communications tailored for senior executives, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Work effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Business Units to ensure cohesive regulatory messaging and engagement.
  • Provide thought leadership and counsel to senior leadership on regulatory trends, risks, and communication strategies.
  • Drive a high-performance culture within the team, demonstrating resilience, dedication, and a strong work ethic.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following :

  • 5-7 years of experience in financial services, with an understanding of risk management, and / or finance.
  • Proven track record in strategic communications, particularly in regulatory or highly regulated environments.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial and regulatory information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and manage multiple high-priority projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience guiding messaging for senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism, resilience, and willingness to work in an intense, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience required.
