Shelter staff are an essential part of daily operations at UGM; you’ll provide continued guest services and support, have frequent communication with partnering agencies, and help ensure property upkeep and cleanliness.Required attendance : all staff meeting, shelter meetingEducation, Certification, and Experience Requirements
Education : high school diploma or equivalentCertifications : CPR, 1st Aid, NARCAN, Trauma Informed Care, and de-escalation / self defenseExperience : no experience necessaryEssential Skills and Abilities

General Expectations :
Prayer lapComplete perimeter and safety checksComply with law enforcement as neededAssist maintenance with food deliveries / pick-ups as neededUphold the values and rules of UGM with guests and fellow employeesAssist guests with laundry needs, and complete all UGM laundry needs dailyEnsure guest chores are completed, and finish the remaining chores for your shiftRead staff notes going back to the last shift you worked, and keep logs up-to-date throughout your shift with pertinent informationAssist with all general guest processes at UGMEffectively operate all computer programs to complete essential job functions#hc123473
