The 61st Street Service Corporation, provides administrative and clinical support staff for ColumbiaDoctors . This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors' practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties.

Job Summary :

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will serve as a key member of the patient care team in an ambulatory setting. The LPN will work closely with providers across multiple specialties as well as with other clinical and administrative staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience that contributes to positive health outcomes for patients and a work culture of Service-Oriented, Trust, Empathy, Safety, Inclusion and Communication.

Job Responsibilities :

• Greet patients and coordinate patient flow.
• Perform vital signs and document in electronic record.
• Gather and populate MU data on patient's electronic record (allergies, medications, fam. history, etc.).
• Administer injections (subq, IM and intradermal) as ordered by providers.
• Perform phlebotomy / venipuncture and prepare specimens to be transported to lab.
• Perform EKGs as needed.
• Perform point of care testing, maintain log books.
• Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations.
• Restock supplies in exam rooms and treatment areas, and complete daily refrigerator / freezer logs.
• Clinical order entry as needed.
• Preparation of Vaccines Cost Allocation Report.
• Assist Supervisor / Manager with re-orders and inventory tracking.
• Provide coverage of other clinical staff as needed.
• Assist Supervisor and / or Manager with daily staffing schedules, time off requests, same day absences, etc. Ensure adequate coverage and address any related issues as directed.
• Other duties as assigned within professional scope of practice / training / education.

Job Qualifications :

Hourly Rate Ranges : $29.33 - $44.23

Note : Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
