Location : Boise (ID) – On-Site

Department : Sales / Business Development

Reports to : Sales Manager

Ultra Labs is an innovation-driven company focused on building technology solutions that simplify and enhance operations across multiple industries. One of our flagship solutions, OurPetPolicy, partners with property management companies nationwide to improve pet policy compliance, reduce risk, and drive resident satisfaction.

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) who will play a critical role in generating qualified opportunities for our sales team. The ideal candidate combines excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a foundational understanding of property management operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Outreach

Research, identify, and engage property management companies, owners, and operators to generate new business opportunities.

  • Conduct cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to prospective clients.
  • Qualification
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand the unique needs of property managers, including compliance, pet-related risk management, and resident satisfaction.

  • Qualify leads and schedule product demos for Account Executives.
  • Collaboration & Handoff
  • Maintain close collaboration with Account Executives, ensuring qualified prospects are transitioned smoothly.

  • Provide detailed notes in the CRM on prospect pain points, needs, and buying signals.
  • Market Knowledge & Insight
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of property management workflows, compliance requirements, and resident engagement practices.

  • Stay informed about OurPetPolicy product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Tracking & Reporting
  • Meet or exceed weekly / monthly activity metrics, including calls, emails, meetings booked, and demos scheduled.

  • Maintain accurate data in CRM (HubSpot / Salesforce or similar).

  • Requirements : Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing roles (SaaS or proptech industry a plus).
  • Familiarity with property management industry operations (e.g., leasing, compliance, resident relations) strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to quickly build trust with prospects.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and a metrics-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in CRM management.
  • Self-starter with resilience, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
