Role and Responsibilities

An Estimator is responsible for the cost calculations to determine how much it will cost a company to complete a project or provide products and services to our clients. This position focuses on estimating projects including the installation of : geotextile liners, underground detention systems and engineered product solutions such as Hydroturf and more. They do this by researching the costs of the materials, transport, labor, equipment, etc.

Duties and responsibilities

• Read plans and perform take offs
• Work with potential clients and project managers to understand project specifics.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and contractors within the specified timeframe.
• Preparing and submitting quotes and details of costs for work to be done.
• Setting up, planning and disseminating information for the job so the project management and field team clearly understand the parameters and are able to perform to the specifications.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the key vendors

Benefits

Salary 40,000 – 60,000
