Job Summary (Azure Data Architect) - Hybrid work model : 2 days onsite in Washington DC.

• Serve as the Azure Data Architect for the World Bank, responsible for designing and implementing data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Lead data governance initiatives using Microsoft Purview and ensure data protection and compliance with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and Compliance Manager.
• Oversee identity and access management (IAM) using Microsoft Entra ID, including policy creation and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Utilize Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration, processing, and ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Develop and manage enterprise-level data lakes, data warehouses, and lake house architectures for big data and machine learning workloads.
• Create comprehensive architectural documentation, flow diagrams, and governance frameworks to support data management and reporting.
• Design and implement data visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI and / or Tableau.
• Apply standardized IAM governance processes and tools for managing identity metadata and access controls.
• Work with infrastructure as code (IaC), and SaaS / PaaS solutions within Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
• Requires at least 14 years of experience in data architecture and Azure technologies.
• Must have an active LinkedIn profile.
