Illinois Licensed Senior Accountant

A company is looking for a Sr Accountant Gen / Reg PRN.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinates training of incoming staff and prepares audit work papers and financial statements

Leads business process redesign activities for new products and system enhancements

Prepares and analyzes financial reports, verifies ledger account reconciliations, and files tax returns

Required Qualifications

Experience in Statutory, GAAP, and Tax accounting

Ability to independently prepare Audited Statutory Reports and Quarterly Statutory Reporting

Project management skills for process improvement and workflow design

Supervisory experience in managing departmental projects

Relevant certifications in accounting are preferred
