VentureTech Solutions , based in Plantation, FL provides IT, Accounting and HR support for a number of Financial Service and Real Estate Companies. We have an immediate need for Commercial Real Estate Attorney to support our growing portfolio.

This position is IN OFFICE and requires an active Florida Bar certification.

Ideal candidates will have 4-6 years of in-depth corporate, commercial real estate, and litigation experience, preferably at a major law firm and / or in-house legal department. He or she will be detail-oriented and highly organized and will have experience with vendor agreements, service agreements, software agreements, research agreements, real estate leases, MOUs / LOIs, and general corporate governance matters. Given that we’re a small, entrepreneurial organization, the successful candidate will also need to assist as needed on other assorted legal matters such as labor & employment and intellectual property spaces.

The Commercial Real Estate Attorney reports to the CEO / CFO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial and real estate agreements (leases, licensing, MSAs, LOIs, software, NDAs).
  • Provide legal support to business teams on contracts, obligations, and risk management.
  • Provide legal support for business development activities and new initiatives.
  • Collaborate across business units and legal teams on due diligence.
  • Manage outside counsel on litigation matters as needed.
  • Assist other related companies with legal matters.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and member of the Florida Bar.
  • 4+ years of transactional legal experience (real estate focus).
  • Strong background negotiating leases and infrastructure agreements .
  • Experience with technology, energy, or telecom-related contracts a plus.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and customer-service oriented.
  • Requirements / Qualifications

    Florida bar admission. Candidate should have a strong academic background and must have demonstrated skill in retail lease transactions, landlord / tenant negotiations and a solid understanding of the commercial real estate business. Strong drafting and negotiating skills are a must. Experience with corporate work related to commercial real estate transactions, such as joint venture agreements, business formations and governance is a plus, but not required. Candidate must have effective interpersonal and communication skills, ability to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced work environment, attention to detail and follow-up, and pragmatic and effective problem-solving skills. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of corporate experience.
