Job Summary

The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales organization, developing long-term strategies, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives . The role will focus on sustaining and expanding growth in OEM , aftermarket, and commercial vehicle business lines. The successful candidate will be a proven leader with strong industry knowledge, customer focus, and the ability to deliver results in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and profitability across all business segments (OEM, aftermarket, motorsport, and commercial vehicle).
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve performance objectives.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with OEMs, distributors, and industry partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with long-term strategic goals that support growth and profitability commitments.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to guide commercial planning.
  • Collaborate with internal functions-including product management, engineering, and operations-to ensure customer needs are met with innovative solutions.
  • Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements.
  • Works with internal operations team to investigate, resolve, and develop commercial recovery strategies.
  • Possess strong commercial, technical , and business acumen to drive well-informed program decisions in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business , Marketing, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the automotive sector.
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth across OEM and adjacent business channels.
  • Skilled in developing and managing global customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing, multicultural sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
