Opportunity : RN - MICU Job Details : Work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours 13-week assignment length Weekend work required every other weekend No call requirements Patient ratio of 1 : 2 in 22-bed unit Must have 3 years Cardiac and / or Medical ICU experience and 3 years CVICU experience recovering open hearts directly from the OR Required certifications : BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS Preferred certification : TNCC Current RN License eligible for Missouri licensure May float to other stepdown units based on staffing needs Work with equipment including Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun Use EPIC electronic medical record system Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory issues, post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, and suicidal ideations Black scrubs required Night shift orientation conducted during day shift hours Must be available entire week for orientation Auto-offer position with flexible scheduling options available Facility : This healthcare facility has served the South St. Louis County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
