HVAC Training Content Developer
Johnson Controls / Bosch Home Comfort is seeking a motivated Junior HVAC Training Content Developer to join our Ducted Systems Academy team in Oklahoma City. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to launch their career in instructional design and technical training within the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical aptitude with creative multimedia skills to help develop engaging training content for our channel partners and technicians.
Your Tasks
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in creating, editing, and maintaining training materials including presentations, videos, job aids, and digital resources
- Write clear, accurate technical documentation and training content
- Support the production of video-based training content from concept through post-production
- Develop supporting documentation and visual aids for technical training courses
- Help maintain and update existing curriculum materials in our Learning Management System
- Work closely with the Senior DSA Developer on all training development projects
Multimedia Production :
Capture high-quality photographs and video footage of HVAC equipment, installations, and training demonstrationsEdit video content including graphics, transitions, and audio enhancementCreate visual presentations and infographics to support learning objectivesAssist with live-streaming and recording of training sessionsLeverage AI tools to enhance productivity and content creationAdministrative Support :
Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and review content accuracyOrganize and maintain digital asset libraries including photos, videos, and templatesTrack project timelines and deliverables for multiple training development initiativesSupport LMS administration and content uploadsYour Profile
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, Marketing, Technical Writing, or related fieldFresh graduates welcome to applyProficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with demonstrated ability to create professional, engaging presentationsPortfolio or examples of photography and video work (academic projects acceptable)Proficient in technical writing with ability to communicate complex information clearlyTechnical Skills :
Proficient video and photo editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or similar platforms)Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical componentsExperience working with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar AI platforms)Comfortable learning new software and technology platformsBasic understanding of Learning Management Systems preferredPersonal Attributes :
