Kitchen Supervisor
Our Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for supervising Kitchen Production including infused gummies, tinctures, and capsules, as well as kitchen consumables inventory and the packaging of products. This Supervisor will ensure the kitchen department is compliant with company and industry standards.
Your role in caring for our products :
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Supervise and train all Marijuana-Infused Products (MIPs) team members in infused product production process (dosing, dispensing, packaging, and QC).
- Interview, onboard, and train all new MIPs team members.
- Implement new product varieties.
- Produce compliant labeling for all MIPs products.
- Operate and train employees on machinery including candy packaging machines and candy depositors.
- Troubleshoot and correct any issues with machinery.
- Oversee base production and coordinate dosing with lab.
- Prep ingredients required for topical and edible products.
- Responsible for all MIPs supplies and ingredient ordering.
- Partner with the General Manager to create weekly schedules.
- Ensure and manage quality control.
- Assist with production work as needed.
- Complete production logs as required.
- Maintain all MCA required cleaning and calibration logs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of COMAR and all relevant sections.
- Address underperformance promptly and compassionately, in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate effectively with Human Resources and appropriate partners.
- Retains and develops top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback.
- Conduct reviews for Kitchen employees.
- Maintain active Food Safety Manager certification (ex. Servsafe)
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications we ask you to have :
High School degree / GED preferredFor legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.Previous supervisory experience required.Additional skills which will help you excel in your role :
Strong attention to detail METRC records must be precise!Desire and ability to work as a member of a team.Maintain strict compliance with HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.Strong work ethic be accountable and proactive.Ability to adjust to a rapidly changing environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Basic proficiency with production software or inventory systems is a plus.Work Schedule / Location :

There may be days where you stand the entire day, sit the entire day, etc. Please be flexible as the needs will change.This role is similar to an assembly line in that it will be completing repetitive tasks throughout the day.You will be asked to carry loads of up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.This position requires arm extending, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small consumable items.As this is a cannabis processing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.Employees are required to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants.
