RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for an international custom compounder company with U.S. locations as well as global operations. This is a direct hire leadership role offering competitive pay, bonus, and growth opportunities.

Open to candidates with related expereince in compounding / mixing equipment, or extrusion / plastics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Establish direction, priorities, and focus for the maintenance team.
• Create and manage training objectives for employees at various skill levels.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.
• Evaluate and address the maintenance needs of the plant.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure production equipment reliability.
• Manage calibration systems for scales, gauges, and instruments.
• Lead plant improvement and cost-saving projects.
• Approve requisitions for parts and manage vendor services.
• Review financial reports and align with company goals.
• Recruit, interview, and recommend prospective maintenance employees.
• Coach, mentor, and provide corrective action when necessary.
• Promote and maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and maintain productivity standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
