Job Title : Licensed Pharmacist / Pharmacy Technician

Department : Site Operations

Reports To : Site Manager

Location : On-site

Status : Non-exempt (hourly)

Compensation : $50.00 - $65.00

Position Summary : We are seeking a reliable and experienced Pharmacist to join our growing team at Elite Clinical Network. This position will be responsible for managing investigational products including medicines and biologicals. Ideal candidates will be proficient in accurate and efficient dispensation of medication, possess working knowledge of study protocols and IRB procedures, and be capable of thorough documentation for research purposes.

Essential Duties :

  • Review protocols for clinical drug trials as required
  • Liaise with the Principal Investigator and other staff to establish pharmacy’s role
  • Maintain responsibility for the management of the inventory for clinical drug trials; orders, replaces and returns study materials as required
  • Meet and maintain study timelines
  • Maintain protocol compliance
  • Maintain effective and ongoing communication with the PI, sponsor, and research participants during the course of the study
  • Collect data as required by the protocol

Qualifications :

  • Must be licensed as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
  • Knowledge of IRB procedures and submission processes
  • Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to accurately and consistently document information
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to provide clear and consistent communication both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, local and institutional regulations that govern clinical research
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage several competing activities simultaneously
  • Ability to interact with patients, family members, physicians, and outside sponsor personnel in a professional manner
