Job Title : Circuit Board Assembler

Job Description

As a Circuit Board Assembler, you will work from blueprints, schedules, shop orders, specification sheets, process instructions, and test instructions. Your role will involve reviewing production schedules to arrange for parts, materials, supplies, tooling, gauges, and other equipment necessary to meet production requirements. You will also be responsible for storing materials, passing Kan Ban cards to producing departments, and moving items between storage areas and work cells.

Responsibilities

• Fill out and submit requisitions, move tickets, finished goods tickets, and scrap tickets.
• Select, verify, and identify the quantity of materials, recording or highlighting shortages, rejected, or damaged materials.
• Set up work cell equipment and make necessary adjustments to tools, gauges, and equipment.
• Perform operational checks as required and monitor work visually to maintain quality standards.
• Notify the supervisor of any nonconformance or operating difficulties.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, oiling, inspecting, and making minor adjustments on equipment in the work cell.
• Train new and existing employees on effective work cell operations.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work cell area.
• Use a computer to check the status of customer orders and shop orders.
• Utilize hand and power tools, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials.

Work Environment

This role is within an emergency warning manufacturing company with over 500 employees and three separate unions. The work shifts are 7 am to 3 : 30 pm for the first shift and 3 : 30 pm to midnight for the second shift. Employees will engage in a dynamic and supportive environment with opportunities for collaboration and growth.

This is a Permanent position based out of University Park, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40185.60 - $40185.60 / yr.
