About The Position

Job Title : Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology Technologist

Profession : Interventional Radiology Tech

Specialty : Special Procedures

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10 Hour Days

Hours per Shift : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience required.

License : ARRT

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience

Description :

Functions as an IR technologist.

Assists Interventional radiologists, Vascular and Neurosurgeons.

Utilizes Siemens IR suite Artis and GE Angio 4400.

Knowledge of EPIC Clientnt and Change HealthCare PACS is required.

Must be seasoned with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.

Day shift position.

Eventual independent work required.

Rotating call is part of the position.

Department has two IR suites and an EV and Hybrid suite.

The hospital supports four IR rooms.

Dress code consists of scrubs provided by the employer.

Training consists of one-on-one training for two weeks followed by independent work as a team member.
