ER RN Job Details - Meriden, CT Location : Meriden, Connecticut 06451 (Central Connecticut, near Hartford and New Haven) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 8 / 11 / 2025 - End : 11 / 11 / 2025) Healthcare Setting : Emergency Services Unit / Emergency Department Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM), every other weekend and holiday Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,090 - $2,140 per week Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Emergency Room RN Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license - Connecticut RN license preferred Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) or ER nursing experience Recent hands-on experience (within the past 6 months) with EPIC EMR Experience in a high-volume emergency room (over 150 patient visits per day) BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association preferred) ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced emergency department Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team Accurately document all patient care activities in EPIC EMR Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Why Choose Meriden, CT for Your Next Travel Nursing Assignment?
