Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Lima, OH

Join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in Lima, Ohio, where we provide exceptional care and advanced medical technology expected from a prominent health center. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) within a supportive and well-structured environment, featuring a dedicated anesthesiologist team and the latest anesthesia technology at our facility.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with a team of 8 CRNAs and 1 MD, performing all services at the hospital.
  • Work flexible schedules typically from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts based on operational needs.
  • Manage anesthesia for an average of 2-3 surgical cases per shift, participating in approximately 20-30 OR cases per day.
  • Independently perform pre-ops, inductions, emergences, nerve blocks, and general anesthesia.
  • Participate in a robust block program supported by trained staff.
  • Maintain organized and efficient utilization of anesthesia specific EMR (Spectrum Anesthesia EMR).
  • Uphold a high level of patient care in a Level II Trauma facility.
  • No neonatal surgeries; experience diverse patient demographics, primarily adults.

Qualifications :

  • Current Board Certification by the AANA.
  • Valid Ohio nursing license or willingness to obtain.
  • Proficient in BLS, ACLS, & PALS.
  • NRP certification is highly preferred.
  • DEA must be obtained before the start date.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ employment experience as a CRNA is preferred.

    • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Board Certified AANA (required by time of start).
  • Ohio license or willingness to obtain (required).
  • BLS, ACLS, & PALS certification (required by time of start).
  • DEA certification (required prior to start).
  • NRP (highly preferred).
